Christ's faith

"I know your works, and where you dwell, where Satan's throne is. And you hold fast to my name, and did not deny my faith..." -Revelation 2:13

This church is in the thick of it. Their environment is not what we would call "ideal."  They exist a world apart from the sanitary conditions we expect our churches to be surrounded by today. Moreover, this church is assailed by supreme wickedness -- where Satan dwells! Yet their faithfulness to Christ was steady even in the midst of tremendous persecution. Take note that they did not deny HIS faith - our faith is consistently and predictably shaky. His faith is everlasting and extends to us even while we are found to be faithless. Lord grant us a steadfast heart in the midst of darkness. Keep us as we fight against ourselves, impostors, and shaky faith. Help us remain faithful.
