BE THOUGHTFUL
We believe that it is important to be thoughtful when considering God's Word, the Bible. We hope you will check back from time to time for thoughts on God's Word and how it applies to us daily.
"For certain men have crept in unnoticed, who long ago were marked out for this condemnation, ungodly men, who turn the grace of our God into lewdness and deny the only God and our Lord Jesus Christ." -Jude v.4 We often focus our understanding of God's predestination on the election of the saints. This seems to indicate the election of the heretics. But, might it be that these who are fore-ordained for this abomination have played a role by their own will; and an all knowing God, the gospel spoken plainly, the presence of holiness, could these be the catalysts for their evil deeds? Consider Pharoah's hardness of heart in the presence of God's works. Certainly God's mercy extends to such as these - whosoever will - but they will not. The transaction has been voided on their end. And God, knowing their rebellion, will use them in His sovereignty for His ends. Comments are closed.
