We believe that it is important to be thoughtful when considering God's Word, the Bible. We hope you will check back from time to time for thoughts on God's Word and how it applies to us daily.
"Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep these things which are written in it; the time is near." -Revelation 1:3
We believe that the entirety of scripture is God-breathed, inspired, and under divine protection by Jehovah God for the instruction of the saints and His holy church. Based on that belief, the words of John here in the opening of his Revelation carry a two-fold message. The first is for those who read and hear the words of this particularly special book - Revelation. The subtle implication is the promise to the reader AND hearer - but we must internalize the message. The second, and universal truth, regards the study and reception of the ENTIRETY of God's word and positions Revelation as the capstone of our holy canon. May God grant us wisdom while studying His word, the Bible. May we grasp His promises and live out His truth - for the time is near.
