Called, chosen, faithful

"These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for He is Lord of Lords and King of Kings; and those who are with Him are called, chosen, and faithful." -Revelation 17:14

Humanity, given over to depravity, loudly rages against Christ. These are the last flailing throes of a desperate animal. But Christ's victory is certain! Sin will be conquered. Death will be defeated. Any emissary or mercenary operating under those two banners will be vanquished. Christ is pre-eminent over all, and the encouragement to the saints is this: you, dear one, are called! In fact, you are chosen! By God's grace you WILL BE found faithful.
